About the GST
THE SCREEN
At five by seven stories (52-ft high and 70-ft wide), our Giant Screen Theater's screen extends beyond your field of vision, for a completely lifelike experience. This makes our screen the LARGEST Film Society screen in America, home to to a dedicated Film Society.
A Film Society is an ever-growing circle of film lovers, who come together to watch screenings of films not otherwise shown in a mainstream cinema. The Peoria Riverfront Museum's Film Society is over 4,000 strong, with access to exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming movies, and more!

THE TECHNOLOGY
Lifelike dual 4K 36,000-lumen laser projection and 21-speaker 65,000-watt surround sound provide visitors with an unsurpassed, immersive viewing experience.
New ultra-bright dual Barco 3-DLP 36,000 lumen 4K laser video projectors deliver exceptionally rich color and depth for lifelike 2D and 3D content. The twin projectors, dedicated to right and left vision fields, allow true 3D projection.
The upgraded Dolby 21-speaker surround sound system packs more than 65,000 watts of powerful, balanced, crystal-clear sound aided by JBL speakers, Crown amplifiers, Biamp and Dolby Cinema processing, Shure wireless microphones, Alchemy video servers, and Crestron automation.
THE EXPERIENCE
The Peoria Riverfront Museum's Giant Screen Theater is where our community comes together.
Lifelike projection and sound technology bring a new era of film screening to the museum, which uses its 194-seat theater to turn your average trip to the movies into an experience you'll never forget.
Engage with the Giant Screen with the greatest Hollywood and international films of all time, immersive award-winning documentaries like
