Signature programs — School of the Holy Child Signature Programs ​Holy Child offers three signature, two-year, honors-level academic programs in the humanities, engineering, or finance fields. Upper School students selected to participate in a signature program engage in interdisciplinary learning in their junior year, commit to an immersive program during either Spring break or June and complete a research-based capstone project in their senior year. Advanced Humanities Institute (AHI) This program combines a rigorous curriculum in the arts, cultural theory, social science, and psychology. Students learn to become engaged citizens, sensitive and perceptive cultural observers, and convincing and powerful thinkers. Engineering, Architecture, and Design for the Common Good (EAD) This is an interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum that combines the study of art and architecture with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students engage in learning that is anchored to real-world issues and applications. Leadership Institute in Finance (LIF) This program's coursework is designed to empower girls to master financial literacy, explore business ethics, and develop effective leadership skills to prepare for competitive internships and careers in finance. Global Studies Program: Global trips provide students with opportunities to engage in meaningful and contemplative travel and are designed to provide unique and enriching experiences for students to learn, study, and serve. They focus on community service, cultural immersion, historical education, and curricular connections.
