Royal Court Excellence
Representing the finest in academic achievement, leadership, and campus spirit at Tougaloo College.
The Tougaloo College Royal Court represents the highest standards of excellence, leadership, and campus spirit. Our kings and queens serve as ambassadors for the college, embodying the values and traditions that make Tougaloo a beacon of educational excellence in the HBCU community.
Each member of our Royal Court is elected by their peers to represent their respective classes with dignity, grace, and unwavering commitment to academic and personal excellence. From freshmen beginning their journey to seniors preparing to make their mark on the world, our royalty serves as role models and leaders who inspire the entire campus community.
As official ambassadors of Tougaloo College, our Royal Court participates in recruitment activities, represents the institution at external events and pageants, hosts campus forums and social events, and provides guidance and mentorship to fellow students. They are the face of our institution's commitment to developing well-rounded leaders who will make positive contributions to society.

Almia Valentine & Justin Williams
Miss Tougaloo, Almia Valentine, proudly hails from Flora, Mississippi. She is a dedicated Biology Pre-Medicine major whose purpose is grounded in service, leadership, and compassion. Her guiding scripture is 1 Peter 5:7 – "Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you."
Mr. Tougaloo, Justin Williams, is a proud native of Clarksdale, Mississippi. He is a passionate Political Science major whose leadership is rooted in courage and faith. His favorite scripture, Joshua 1:9, proclaims: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous."
Together, they represent Tougaloo College with excitement, purpose, and dedication, ready to uplift our Eagle family and inspire unity.

Triniti Buford & Broderick Thompson
Triniti Buford, serving as Miss Senior for the '25-'26 Academic year, hails from Moss Point, MS. She is currently majoring in Elementary Education. Her favorite bible verse comes from Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Broderick Thompson, serving as Mister Senior, is from McComb, MS. BJ is a Health & Recreation major. His favorite bible verse comes from Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still."

Miss Junior Bethany Walker and Mister Junior James Magee represent the junior class with distinction and leadership. As rising seniors, they demonstrate the academic excellence and campus involvement that prepares them for future leadership roles while actively engaging in campus life and community service.

Samiyah Lane & Chase Bailey
Ms. Samiyah Lane, a Political Science major with a Minor in Pre-Law, is a Jackson, MS native. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:31, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
Mr. Chase Bailey is an Economics major from Columbus, MS. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 11:36 "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."
