The Office of the Registrar has partnered with Parchment to provide a web-based transcript
service.
Please note that the University of Houston-Clear Lake does not release copies of transcripts
received from other institutions. If you need a transcript from a prior institution,
you must contact that institution.
Requesting Unofficial Transcripts
An unofficial transcript is a copy of your UHCL academic record. Unofficial transcripts
are not sealed in an envelope or sent to third parties. They are used for informational
purposes only and do not have the university name, logo, or seal, as these are only
provided on official transcripts. If needed for admissions purposes, please note that
most schools require an official transcript.

Requesting Official Transcripts
Official Transcript Fee
Transcripts may be ordered online for a fee as follows:
Current students:
$5.00 each
Former students:
$15.00 each
The official transcript fee will be charged to all orders, regardless of delivery
option.
Taxes will apply to delivery by mail option. Additional fees apply for special services
such as express delivery. Transcripts will be sent electronically or on paper by mail,
depending on the selected destination.
Transcripts cannot be released if the student has a transcript hold.
Ordering Options
All current and former students may order transcripts using any of the following methods:
Order Online - For Delivery
Delivery methods include electronic delivery (fastest), USPS first class mail, or
express delivery.
Order Transcripts Through Parchment
Order Online - For Pick Up
Transcripts may be ordered online through Parchment. If placing a transcript order
for pick up, it is essential to select the option, "Official Transcript - Pick Up"
during the ordering process to ensure proper handling.
The official transcript fee will be charged to all orders, regardless of delivery
option.
If someone other than the student is designated to pick up the transcript, the exact
name must be provided during the order process. The name on the transcript of the
designee for pick up must match the person and
government-issued photo ID
provided during pick up. A valid
government-issued photo ID
will be required to receive your order.
Order Transcripts Through Parchment
Pickup requests will be processed 24-48 hours from receipt. A valid
government-issued photo ID
will be required to receive your order.
Transcript pickup: Registrar's Office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Payment Methods
All transcript order payments, whether placed for delivery or pick up, are processed
online through Parchment.
Payment must be made by credit or debit card.
