Dean's Message
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, an exceptional place for learning, discovery, and transformation. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology was established in 2007 with the start of BSc Engineering programs in Electrical and Chemical Engineering. However, the faculty has made significant progress in all dimensions since its establishment and at present the faculty offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is home to a well-knitted and vibrant community of students, faculty, and staff. The faculty members are young, and energetic. Most of the faculty members are foreign qualified and they have vast academic and research experience. Accordingly, our faculty members are instrumental in providing both theoretical and practical excellence.
The BSc Engineering programs are accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council and BSc Engineering Technology programs are accredited by National Technology Council. The curriculums of bachelor programs are developed to comply with the requirements of OBE system to impart our students the necessary knowledge and skills.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has an excellent infrastructure with state-of-the-art laboratories to provide hands on experience to the students. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities play a vital role in academic and social life of students. Such activities admittedly strengthen a healthy relationship among the students and develop a feeling of co-ordination in the living-learning processes of the students, faculty, and administration.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has established student societies at the departmental level. At present there are three societies which are working actively. These include Chemical Engineering Student Society (CHESS), Hayatians Society of Mechanical Engineering (HSME) and ELECX (Electrical Engineering Society). With the goal of developing skilled professionals of an entrepreneurial mindset, we endeavor to prepare engineering graduates for the ever-changing national and global arena.
