Connecticut State Police (CSP)
Statewide law enforcement services
Since 1903, CSP has delivered law enforcement services across the state. CSP has 11 troops. It provides primary policing for 82 municipalities. It also supports major crime, emergencies, and traffic.

Police Officer Standards and Training Council
Setting standards
The Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POSTC) establishes standards for police agencies and awards accreditation to those that comply with these standards.
POSTC also provides high-quality training for Connecticut police to ensure the safety of our state.
