What is Vidigami?
I lost or can't find the invitation email
How is Vidigami organized?
Can I view all photos of the school that are uploaded to Vidigami?
How do I add photos?
Is This Me? Feature
New photos are uploaded of me/my child, but Vidigami did not auto-tag them. Why not?
I accidentally uploaded duplicate photos. What do I do?
How do I download a photo?
What platforms can I use the Vidigami app on?
How do I tag or untag a face?
I think a photo is inappropriate or the photo is unbecoming of my student. What should I do?
Will I still be able to access my photos after I graduate?
Vidigami is a private photo-sharing platform that allows the Gunston community (students, parents, faculty, staff) to collect, organize, share and download our many photos of Gunston life in one centralized place.
You can use Vidigami to download full-resolution photos for free, and search for photos.
If you see a photo that you feel is inappropriate, you can “flag” the photo for our review by selecting the photo and clicking the three dots in the upper right hand corner to open the options available. There is a Report flag you may select.
1) Go to vidigami.com and select Login.
2) Use the Forgot password link on Vidigami login page.
If you have activated your account but cannot log in, the system will send you a password reset link.
If you have not activated your account, the system will resend you your email invitation, which will contain your account activation link.
If the system cannot find you, or you are still having issues, please email mthomas@gunston.org
After logging into Vidigami, you will see two main areas for content: the Gunston School space and your personal section indicated by a circle with your first name's initial. If you are a Parent you will also see each of your children's personal space.
The Gunston space allows you to see Feeds of the Pages you follow. Initially you will follow all pages within the Gunston space. Only Gunston may have Pages.
In your personal space, as a Parent, you may create a Collection, which you may Title and add photos into. Once you create a Collection with images, you may Share (as a Parent or Faculty/Staff) your Collection with other users in Vidigami.
Yes. You can access all photos in all Gunston School Pages. You cannot view other user's Collections or Photos unless they have shared them onto a Gunston Page or shared them to the entire school.
Do you have photos from a game or an event or school activity? Share them with the community!
1 - Create an Album.
2 - Title the Album very specifically, by [group name],  [event name], [event date].  For example: Varsity Boys Soccer Varsity vs. SSPP 08/30/24.
2 - Upload Photos to the Album
Is This Me is an AI optimized system that will make suggestions once it reaches 70% assurance of the identity of the user. These suggestions will show up for Parents (and Students) to accept or reject. The more photos that are accepted  and manually tagged, the more frequent the suggestions. All photos that are accepted go into the user's portfolio.
Vidigami’s auto-tagging does take some time to process after we upload photos, and is not a perfect system. It will not recognize all faces in all photos—particularly faces that are turned or obstructed in any fashion—and will not tag faces it does not recognize with 90% confidence. But, the more photos we manually tag, the better the auto-tagging system works. So please feel free to tag yourself or your child in any photo!
You can “flag” the photo for our review by clicking the dots in the upper right hand corner of the photo to open the Options available to you. Select the “Report” option and mark the reason as Duplicate Media. The Vidigami organizer will review the photo and remove the duplicate media. If you have further questions or concerns about a photo, please email mthomas@gunston.org
Click on the photo you'd like to download. In the expanded view, click "Download" in the upper right.
The Vidigami app is a Progressive Web App and is accessible on any device with a browser, i.e., use Safari on your iPhone to use the Vidigami App.
To tag an untagged person in any photo, click the “tag face” icon in the upper right hand corner of a photo, then click on the person’s face and enter the correct name in the box that appears.
If you see a person who is incorrectly identified by a tag, you can remove the tag by hovering over the person and then clicking the X in the green name tag box.
If you see a photo that you feel is inappropriate, you can “flag” the photo for our review by clicking the dots in the upper right hand corner of the photo and then clicking “report.” The Vidigami organizer (mthomas@gunston.org) will review the photo and remove if it is deemed inappropriate. If you have further questions or concerns, please reach out directly!
Yes. Parents and students will still be able to access a student's photos after he or she graduates, but will not be able to access new Vidigami photos that are uploaded to School years outside of the time the student attended Gunston.
For example, after graduation, a member of the Class of 2022 will be able to see all 2021-22 school year photos, but will not be able to access 2022-23 school year photos when those begin to be uploaded.
