Community Health Grants
Community Health Grants support our vision to be essential to the health of the region, and our mission of “good health for our people, our communities, our world.” Legacy Health remains committed to our mission and fulfills its commitment to the community through its investments and partnerships in Oregon and SW Washington.
Purpose of Community Health Grants
The purpose of grant funding is to support nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with our Community Health Need Assessments (CHNAs) and Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIPs). Our investments strive to advance health equity by focusing on organizations serving historically underserved and underrepresented communities.
Funding Priorities
Current Community Health Grants to organizations serving Marion county:
Access to health care
Economic stability
Mental health and substance use
Current Community Health Grants to organizations serving the
Portland metro area

Access to culturally and linguistically responsive health care:
Access to affordable health care, culturally and linguistically responsive health care
Essential community services and resources:
Economic opportunity, educational opportunity, culturally specific and healthy foods
A neighborhood for all:
Physical safety in the community
