economic data release schedule
for 2026. Dates associated with the release of Colorado specific labor market data can be found under the Schedules section. The 2025 OEWS estimates will be delayed until mid-to-late May 2026 due to the 2025 lapse in federal appropriations.

Employment Situation
Every month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases the
national employment situation summary
for the previous month. After this release, Colorado uses the data to analyze and compare its own employment trends against the national figures. Colorado then releases an employment situation summary for the state.
