Celebrate the 13th Annual Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival, April 25 & 26, 2026 from 11am-3pm.
Join The Buffalo History Museum, Buffalo Olmsted Parks, The Friends of the Japanese Garden, and Music is Art in Buffalo’s favorite springtime tradition!
Celebrate inside The Buffalo History Museum and outside in the Japanese Garden with cultural displays and activities.  Learn about bonsai, origami, folk dolls, and Kanazawa, our sister city in Japan at activity tables inside the Buffalo History Museum. Enjoy Music is Art’s 3 stages of live music in the Japanese Garden. Stroll in the garden and take a ride on the pink boats on Mirror Lake. Grab something to eat from the Food Trucks. Parking: Parking is available at Buffalo State in Lot R-14 (

) or in the surrounding neighborhood. The Museum Parking Lot is reserved for individuals with accessibility needs.
