The book synthesizes research in history, fashion, art and visual culture to reassess the hair story of peoples of African descent. Curated by Dr. Tameka Ellington and Dr. Joseph Underwood for the Kent State University Museum. The exhibition ran from September 10, 2021 through August 14, 2022.
