FUNDING PRIORITIES
The Hub for Human Impact
A three-story, 20,000-square-foot addition to the heart of campus, opening fall 2026. The human-centered learning commons will benefit all students by fostering innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving, and boldly empowers Torreys to connect their knowledge to their impact.

Additional Priorities
There are a myriad of ways to support LJCDS.
List of 4 items.
Centennial Campaign
The Centennial Campaign to celebrate 100 years of LJCDS and the Places, Programs, and People that define who we are.
This bold vision will transform our campus, and propel LJCDS into its next century. Phase one, a $15 million investment, is already underway and will strengthen our ability to prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
Be part of the legacy.
Programmatic Areas
With access to academic resources and mentors, students achieve extraordinary results in pursuing a meaningful life that inspires greatness beyond their time on campus. There are numerous areas on campus that would benefit from your philanthropic investment. Connect to find your impact area.
Endowment
A strong endowment provides La Jolla Country Day School (LJCDS) with a steady source of revenue, which supports all aspects of the school. An endowment is essential to the long-term stability of a first-class educational institution and is the cornerstone of success for the country's finest independent schools. Endowed funds are placed in an investment pool that is independently managed.
Faculty Professional Growth
To remain on the leading edge of pedagogy, faculty and staff regularly need to hone their various skills. From conferences to global excursions, learning experiences allow them to remain current and bring new ideas and innovations back to students. Professional growth monies are raised throughout the year and are also a raise-a-paddle opportunity at the annual fundraising gala—
