it to our attention through our Patient Advocate program. Among other
services, a hospital Patient Advocate ensures patient rights are upheld by:
Promoting patient rights and responsibilities
Acting as a liaison between patients and hospital staff
Working to resolve complaints and grievances
Assisting in securing interpreter services
Assisting with patients’ special needs
