Academic Enrichment Programs
When student curiosity is ignited, their learning knows no bounds. Our selection of academic enrichment programs let students join small groups that dive deep into learning areas of their choice, advancing their subject knowledge, building their confidence, and increasing their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Socialize and Accelerate Learning
We’re building a supportive academic culture that lets students connect with others who share their passions and academic interests. Not only does this make learning more fun, but it allows students to encourage each other on their learning journeys.
Academic Support Programs
Accelerated Programs
Students can get ahead with accelerated math programs that allow them to work at the next level. 6-12 students have the flexibility to work ahead in their courses allowing for acceleration and enrichment. We have a robust K-5 gifted program to make sure we are meeting the needs of our highest level learners.
Peer Tutoring
Students in grades 6-12 can get a little help from their friends—peer tutors offer weekly support in math, language arts, science, and social studies.
Learning with Your LSC
All students have the opportunity to work with their LSC to ensure the best possible academic outcome. LSCs host informative homerooms that allow students to interact with each other, get to know their LSC, and engage with important learning topics. LSCs also offer opportunities for fun and fellowship. Many sponsor clubs, offer read alouds, have fun Fridays, and even cook with the students.
Buddy Program
Socialize with students in different grade levels. Buddies meet to participate in planned activities or offer support during the transition to middle school.
Personalized Practice
Students have the opportunity to get some extra practice using adaptive software that analyzes their skills and builds a personalized learning path.
Engaging Academic Enrichment Programs
K-5 Programs
Enrichment

Spark Time allows students and teachers to work in a more personalized setting, ensuring students have their academic needs met to enhance their learning experience.
Learning Together
At ASUPD students have the opportunity to work together and make friends in clubs and learning pods. Learning Pods give students the opportunity to get together for academics, friendship and fun either in person or digitally! We offer a variety of clubs each year for students to join to share their interests with each other and make friends.
