Archives
The Menil Archives identifies, preserves, and provides access to institutional records of research value for the Menil Foundation and the Menil Collection. The Archives is a living, evolving resource with approximately 2,500 cubic feet of materials in a range of formats, from handwritten correspondence and photographic prints to digital files and audiovisual recordings. The Archives collections include exhibition history records dating back to 1951; film and media materials; special collections and a small number of artists’ papers; architectural collections; Menil Foundation records; and the papers of John and Dominique de Menil.
The Menil Archives offers multiple ways for scholars and the public to explore and engage with its collections.
