Varieties of Sacrifice in States of Exception

Revolt and Revolution: Reaching for the Possible, 2014

From the philosophical point of view the passage from mythos to logos is based on the rationalization of sacrificational practices and the introduced by the author sacrificational theorem plays the crucial role in this threshold. In the scientific level of examination, in social and natural sciences, the problem of revolutionary changes is examined, taking the notion of exception as a guiding concept combined with the problem of sacrifice, in its various facets. In social sciences it is founded on the connection between ritual theory and sacrificational practices combined with the exceptional states that exist in revolts or revolutions. In the natural sciences, sacrificational theorem acts as the ‘nuclear reactor’ of the rationalized abstractive process, being the main cause for the emergence of new categories, having the form of the particular relations between theory- experiment-measurement process of every discipline. Key Words: Exception, emergency, sacrifice, categoriogenesis, ritual, sacrification theorem.

Epistemological considerations are also introduced within the authors suggested ''triadic projective ontology'' of Kant's  Darstellung ; resolution and perturbation are found to be treated with the same inner conceptual language, and the modern concept of information spectrum is examined in the classical and quantum contexts.

One of its main conclusions is that neither science can be fruitfully pursued without the virtues fostered by the other: logic is pointless without fairness and compassion; ethics is pointless without rigor and objectivity. The logician’s advice to be dispassionate is in resonance and harmony with the ethicist’s advice us to be compassionate.

Completeness and incompleteness theorems are introduced for human groups and automata networks. In the second part, further research on categoriogenesis is examined within ritual conflicts, revealing the creation of new categories and not the rearrangement (as Hegel and Lukasz insisted) of the already existing categorical systems, as is shown from the history of philosophy.

I would like to begin our conversation with your first scientific interests that shaped your way to research on logic—mathematical, historical, and philosophical—till the moment you said to yourself " I have something new to say ". JOHN CORCORAN: The honour is mine, especially since the interviewer is such a master himself. Your wonderful question would get different answers—all tentative—at different times. Now, I think back to the late 1960s. My first published paper " Three logical theories " , offers rationales for logical-system properties such as weak completeness, strong completeness, deductive completeness, various forms of compactness, consistency, and soundness, and the like.

The logic of gesture non verbal communication is found to be determined by the mixing of Aristotelian natural deduction and the theory of categorical motives of recent research advances in Category Theory. Protocols and Schemes are examined in the game theoretic interaction with light rays and substances with mass. It is found that certain conditions of the topology of the beings which exchange gesture protocols pose certain conditions to the language and the gestures they use. This gesture Homotopy poses the inverse problem of finding the properties of directional topoi which orchestrate surrounding masses with boundary. Certain inequalities are satisfied if the species belong to the same planet or different planets. Aristotelian Astrolinguistics's protocols are proven to be the more universal protocols for communication since they satisfy certain structural conditions of global homotopy types of gesture.
