NABNE Online Platform Terms of Use

By creating an account or using NABNE’s online platform, you agree to the following Terms of Use.
1. Use of the Platform
The NABNE online platform is provided to support examination registration and related activities, including submitting information, uploading documentation, and managing your account. You agree to use the platform only for its intended purposes and in accordance with NABNE policies, including examination-related policies where applicable.
2. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You may not share your account with any other individual. You may maintain only one account and may not create an account for another individual. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any unauthorized use resulting from your failure to maintain account security. You agree to notify NABNE promptly of any unauthorized access to or use of your account or any other security breach.
3. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide through the platform is complete, accurate, and current. Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in account suspension, cancellation of examination registration, invalidation of examination results, or other actions in accordance with NABNE policies.
4. Document Uploads
You may be required to upload identification or other documentation. You agree that all documents submitted are authentic, accurate, and belong to you. Submission of altered, fraudulent, or unauthorized documents may result in denial of services, invalidation of examination results, prohibition from future testing, or other actions in accordance with NABNE policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform or related systems, interfere with or disrupt platform functionality, use automated systems (such as bots or scripts) without authorization, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the operation or security of the platform.
6. Platform Availability
NABNE makes reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and functionality of the platform; however, the platform may be subject to interruptions, delays, or technical issues. NABNE does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
7. Account Suspension or Termination
NABNE reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, limit access to the platform, or take other appropriate action if you violate these Terms of Use or applicable NABNE policies. Violations of these Terms may also result in actions related to examination eligibility, registration, or scores, in accordance with applicable NABNE policies. You may not create a new account or access the platform after suspension or termination without NABNE’s permission.
8. Relationship to Examination Registration
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the NABNE platform. Additional terms, including the Examination Registration Agreement, apply when you register for an examination.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to NABNE and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use such content except as permitted by NABNE.
10. Electronic Communications
You consent to receive communications from NABNE electronically, including notices related to your account, registration, and examination activities.
11. Privacy
Your use of the platform is subject to NABNE’s Privacy Policy, which describes how your information is collected, used, and protected. The platform may include links to third-party websites or services. NABNE is not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NABNE’s total liability arising out of or related to your use of the platform, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount of fees you have paid to NABNE for the applicable service. NABNE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon. If a court declines to enforce the exclusive venue provision, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Changes to These Terms
NABNE may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with NABNE policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement governing your use of the platform.
By creating an account or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use.
NABNE Privacy Policy

NABNE is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how NABNE collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information in connection with its online platform and examination services.
- Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected in connection with NABNE’s services, including its online platform, examination administration, and related activities. This includes information collected through online systems, testing centers, communications, and other examination-related processes. This Privacy Policy applies unless a more specific notice is provided for a particular service.
- Information We Collect
NABNE may collect personal information such as identifying information, including your name, date of birth, and contact information; account information, including your username and login credentials; government-issued identification and related verification information; information provided during registration or application processes; communications with NABNE; and technical or usage information related to the platform.
NABNE may also collect sensitive personal information, including information provided in connection with requests for testing accommodations.
NABNE may also collect examination security and monitoring information, including incident reports, access logs, activity records, and other information generated in connection with examination administration and security.
Personal information may be collected directly from you or from third parties involved in examination administration or related services.
- How We Collect Information
NABNE collects information when you create an account, register for an examination, upload documents, communicate with NABNE, or otherwise use the platform. NABNE may also automatically collect certain technical information, such as system activity, device information, and usage data, to support platform functionality, security, and performance.
- How We Use Information
NABNE uses personal information to create and manage user accounts, process examination registrations and related services, verify identity, maintain examination security, detect and prevent fraud or misconduct, and investigate potential irregular behavior. NABNE may also use personal information to enforce examination security policies, make determinations regarding examination results and candidate eligibility, communicate with you regarding your account or examinations, administer and improve the platform and services, and comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Disclosure of Information
NABNE may share personal information as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including with testing vendors such as Prometric to administer examinations, with regulatory authorities or licensing bodies where required or authorized, and with service providers that support NABNE operations. Such disclosures are made only as necessary and are subject to appropriate contractual and confidentiality safeguards.
NABNE may also use and review personal information internally for examination security, integrity, and enforcement purposes and may limit disclosure of certain information where necessary to protect examination content and security processes. NABNE does not sell personal information.
- International Use
NABNE operates in the United States and serves candidates in both the United States and Canada. Personal information may be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where NABNE or its service providers operate.
- Data Retention
NABNE retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including administration of examinations, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and resolution of disputes. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable requirements. When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or de-identified in accordance with NABNE policies.
