HOTSPOTS at BPL:
We are excited the Friends of Benzonia Public Library have agreed to fund HotSpots for another year! While this is great news, it is important to note that the HotSpot program has changed.  We will now only allow HotSpots to be checked out by Benzie County Residents and Seasonal Guests who have provided us with proof of local property ownership.
The new HotSpots, powered by Mobile Beacon will be active by next week. Mobile Beacon states it offers the nation’s largest 5G network and lightning-fast 4G network exclusively to community organizations, schools, libraries, and non-profits across the country. Visit their coverage page for details

At BPL we believe this program will offer excellent coverage to most of our users. As with all HotSpot providers there may be areas that are not covered and BPL is subject to these limitations.
MI Activity Passes: MAP
Provides Michigan library cardholders the opportunity to discover and explore participating cultural destinations, parks, campgrounds and recreation areas in the state at a discounted rate.

Endowment Fund
An endowment fund for the BPL has been set up at the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation.  Contributions to this fund will help provide ongoing support to the Benzonia Public Library now and in the future.

HotSpots now available at BPL:
Benzonia Public Library is excited to offer HotSpots that may be borrowed.
To borrow a HotSpot
you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid BPL library card. You must also read and sign a BPL Library of Things Lending Guidelines and Agreement at the time of checkout.
Borrowers must be Benzie County Residents or Seasonal Guests with a documented local address.
A valid Government issued ID with picture and current address must be presented at checkout. The address on the ID and in the library records must match
