THEME: Cultivating Collaboration to Advance Student Success
Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness (IRPE) professionals inhabit a unique position within higher education and are well-positioned to forge partnerships across and outside of our institutions to support and improve outcomes for programs and students in myriad ways. This theme invites colleagues to highlight the ways in which they have built bridges between their IRPE offices, student affairs programs, employee groups, instructional faculty and administrators, and beyond to move their institutions forward. While this theme emphasizes student success to ground us in our most critical mission as educators, CAIR community members are encouraged to bring forward cross-functional work across topics and projects.

Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach. Registered service animals are allowed at the hotel. Please let the front desk know what type of animal and the service they provide.

Cancellations and Refunds
Requests for refunds must be made in writing and directed to CAIR’s treasurer (treasurer@cair.org) by October 1, 2026. No refunds will be made after that date except: 1) in cases involving the death or serious illness/injury of the conference registrant or an immediate family member; 2) situations where a natural disaster has created undue hardship for registrants to attend; 3) in cases that are in the best interest of the California Association for Institutional Research; or 4) if the conference is canceled because it cannot be held legally and/or safely.
Visual/Audio/Image Release
CAIR reserves the right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images, chat excerpts, social media posts, or other media obtained by CAIR during the CAIR Conference for educational and promotional purposes.
