Monacan Pottery Traditions with Victoria Ferguson
Victoria Ferguson, enrolled member of the Monacan Indian Nation of Virginia, will discuss the history and culture of Monacan Pottery and lead demonstrations of the craft. Ferguson is a founding elder of Virginia Tech’s Indigenous Community Garden, and serves as the Program Director of Solitude and Presidential Ambassador to Native Nations at Virginia Tech. Free and open to the general public.
