CAS Employee Professional Development
Ensuring Employee Success
Each academic year, the College offers seminars, training sessions, and discussions related to diversity and inclusion initiatives, research grants and awards, promotion and tenure, OSU software, and a range of other topics. Please find below the current academic year's programming. To participate, please register using the link provided for each session. Each session is recorded for later viewing and stored in our Box Program Materials folder, along with any related materials and presentation slides.

2025-26 Program Materials
CAS Faculty Professional Development Grants
The College is accepting proposals for the CAS Faculty Professional Development Grants. Awards can be used from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. All academic and professional faculty with an FTE of 0.5 or greater are eligible.
The College will administer up to $1,000 per award, and awards require a 50% match. We expect multiple applications to be funded.
The grant can be used for professional development activities that enhance one or more aspects of a faculty member’s position. Attending a conference is not sufficient. Unit Leaders and Administrative/Office Managers, please share this announcement with all applicable employees to ensure they receive it.
