Access the WSU DSE webpage
Log in: Use "University Account" if you are a current WSU student, faculty, or staff. Use "Local Account" to login with a non-WSU email address associated with your UREC membership.
Download the DSE Facility Access mobile app
Once the app is downloaded, return to the
Facility Access App webpage
Click "Activate New Device" at bottom of website to get university code and activation code
Open the app and enter the information/activation code to associate your phone with your DSE account.
Current WSU students, faculty, staff, log in using your WSU Network ID (NID) and password.
Other individuals, please log in using the DSE Local Account you have created with your personal email address.  You will be able to review details of your purchases like memberships, lockers, and activities.

Chinook Student Center
The Chinook offers 69,000 square feet of student-centered space.
Recreation & Fitness
Workout opportunities at Chinook are open to undergraduate students enrolled in 7 or more credits and those who have purchased a Chinook membership.
Studying, Social & Activity Spaces
In addition to the recreational opportunities, Chinook offers multiple areas for the other essentials of student life: studying, socializing, eating, relaxing and more.

Unisex Areas
The Chinook Student Center includes several spaces and amenities that are open to all.
Unisex Locker Room
Location:
Basement
This locker area includes changing rooms with floor-to-ceiling privacy walls. Each room contains its own sink, toilet and shower stall. Communal lockers are available through membership and can also be rented for day use.
Unisex Restrooms

Ground Floor
This space includes multiple stalls with floor-to-ceiling privacy walls and a communal sink area.

First Floor
There are four ADA-compliant, single-stall restrooms. Changing stations are also available in restrooms on this floor.
Single-Sex Facilities
Women's and men's restrooms and locker rooms are available on the first floor and at the basement level
Meditation Rooms
Meditation is a great way to reduce stress, relax and refocus your mind. The Chinook meditation room is located on the ground floor.
Meditation Room Policy
Meditation rooms are inclusive spaces for people of all religious and cultural backgrounds. To maintain a welcoming and safe environment, please follow posted policies.
Shoes, bags and personal belongings should be kept in provided storage areas.
Meditation rooms are quiet spaces. Silence phones, use earphones when listening to music and take conversations outside the room.
Food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of water.
Please use meditation rooms for their intended purpose. Do not use rooms for studying, sleeping, meeting or other purposes.
Rooms may not be reserved and are open to everyone.
Multipurpose Rooms
The Chinook offers three large multipurpose rooms for fitness classes and open recreation. Rooms are located on the ground and basement floors.
Please swipe in or present punch card if attending a class.
Appropriate attire, including shirts, is required.
Please store belongings in a locker.
Gum is prohibited.
Refrain from video or still photography.
Wipe down and sanitize all equipment after use.
Return equipment to its proper place when finished.
If bleeding, halt activity until bleeding is stopped and equipment is cleaned. Notify staff to assist with cleanup.
No equipment or footwear that will mark or damage the floor may be used.
Seek assistance from staff regarding the operation of any equipment.
Please support an inclusive environment and respect those around you.
Music Practice Rooms
Music practice rooms are located on the ground floor. These private spaces can be used for instrument rehearsal and vocal performance. Spaces can be used on a first-come, first served basis.
Rooms are available when they are vacant and cannot be reserved in advance.
Please clean up after yourself.
Be courteous of other users.
Food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of water.
Nap Zone
A quick nap can improve your mood, make you more alert and boost productivity. The Nap Zone on the ground floor of the Chinook offers noise-canceling sleep pods to help you re-energize.
One person at a time in napping pods and recliners.
Keep the area clean, and wipe down napping pods after use.

Presentation Practice Rooms
Presentation practice rooms are located on the ground floor. These smaller rooms offer a quiet and private place to practice speeches and run through items before getting in front of a larger audience. Spaces can be used on a first-come, first served basis.
Rooms are available when they are vacant and cannot be reserved in advance.
Please clean up after yourself.
Be courteous of other users.
Use only whiteboard markers on the whiteboard wall.
Food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of water.
Saunas
Relieve tension and unwind in the saunas at the Chinook. Saunas are located on the basement floor near the men's and women's locker rooms.
Sauna Policy
Saunas are open to all genders.
Swimwear or T-shirt and shorts required.
Please sit or stand on a towel.
Sandals and flip-flops only. No other footwear allowed.
Wait at least 5 minutes after exercising before entering.
Limit use to 15 minutes. Those feeling dizzy or faint should leave the sauna immediately and consult a physician before returning.
The following individuals should not use the sauna: Those with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, circulatory or respiratory problems, seizures, epilepsy, pregnant women, and those who are using prescribed or illegal drugs or are under the influence of alcohol.
Children ages 13 and under are not permitted in the sauna. Children between the ages of 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult in the sauna all times.
Do not pour any liquids or place items on sauna heater.

Adjacent to small warming kitchen with sink, as well as lounge with fireplace.
Customizable space with a variety of layouts available for all types of events.
Rates
All reservations include access to Chinook Student Center for non-members for purpose of meeting for event.
Rates include basic audio/visual equipment, tables, chairs, and setup and take-down labor in event space.
