Overview
City Natives serves as The Trustees’ native plant nursery for the people of Boston and beyond. The roughly half-acre site holds a greenhouse and hoophouse where we propagate 200+ species of native plants for sales and community garden common areas. We also grow vegetable seedlings for our spring and fall plant sales. Plants can be purchased at our plant sales or by appointment; please visit our

City Natives sits on a half-acre parcel alongside the Neponset River in Mattapan. We work to grow native plants and vegetable seedlings and sell to community gardeners, local residents, and landscaping businesses. Our site includes a hoophouse, greenhouse, apiary, and composters.

City Natives offers seasonal plant sales every year, with pre order and in-person shopping options.
