Welcome to your NYU Student Health Center (SHC)!
We're your on-campus hub for clinical care—home to both
medical
and
counseling
services that support your health and wellbeing, and
immediate help
when you need it.
We have two SHC locations in New York. At our
main location in Manhattan
, just steps from Washington Square Park, you’ll find everything from individual and group therapy to optometry, gynecology, dermatology, and more. We also have an on-site pharmacy and a dedicated student health insurance team to help you understand and use your coverage. Our
Brooklyn location
offers primary care, counseling, and GYN services.
All New York–based students are welcome to visit either location—whichever is most convenient for you.

Eligibility and Access
All matriculated students in a degree-granting program have access to the SHC, regardless of insurance.
We’re committed to creating an accessible, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students to access our services and receive care, regardless of ability. We work closely with the
Moses Center
to help ensure students receive reasonable and appropriate accommodations.
Interpretation and translation services are available in multiple languages to support you.
Incoming students can begin using the SHC on August 21st (for the fall term), January 9th (for the spring term), and May 14th (for the summer term).
Due to state licensing requirements, we're only able to provide
virtual appointments (telehealth)
if you're physically located in New York State at the time of your appointment.
