The new year and new term is off to an incredible start!  We appreciate your enthusiasm for the outstanding lineup, and your patience in persisting through the registration process.  Memberships and enrollments will continue throughout the term, and it’s likely we’ll break our previous records for both very soon.
I’m thrilled to share news that we were awarded the

Generations United
for our
Tech Skills for Older Adults series
. This national recognition is given to programs that demonstrate outstanding intergenerational effectiveness and impact.
Generations United is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives by fostering cooperation and mutual support between younger and older generations through evidence-based intergenerational programs.

CSU Center for Healthy Aging
, the
Tech Skills for Older Adults
series brings together OLLI members and undergraduate students in a collaborative learning environment. Students design and teach courses covering a wide range of practical technology topics tailored to the interests and needs of older adults such as Smartphone Navigation and Accessibility Tools and Modern Mobility apps (Uber, Lyft, and ParkMobile).
This recognition reflects what makes our OLLI community so special: a shared commitment to curiosity, connection, and learning across generations. We look forward to continuing this important work—and to sharing many more successes with you throughout the term.

IN MEMORIAM: JIM COLLINSON
We are saddened to share the passing of former OLLI instructor Jim Collinson, a distinguished geologist and educator. Jim earned his Ph.D. in geology from Stanford University. Jim’s groundbreaking research included the discovery of the first vertebrate tetrapod skeleton in Antarctica, providing critical evidence for continental drift during the early days of plate tectonics theory.
His contributions were honored with the United States Antarctic Service Medal, a Fulbright-Hays Senior Research Award, and the naming of Collinson Ridge in Antarctica. His legacy endures in the scientific community and among all who had the privilege of learning from him. You can read Jim’s full obituary

OSHR 3351: Resilience in Action
Education has the power to reshape lives at any stage, as shown by Osher Reentry Scholars at Colorado State University. After stepping away from college for five or more years, these students have returned to finish their degrees, balancing academics with work, family, and community commitments. Supported by the Osher Foundation and CSU’s Adult Learner and Veteran Services office, they are pursuing new directions with purpose and persistence.
In this moderated panel, Osher Scholars share their journeys back to college and the lasting impact of the scholarship.
Their stories illustrate both the determination required to return to school and the transformative role of philanthropy in opening doors and strengthening families and communities.
