About Intradistrict Equivalencies
Because Modesto Junior College and Columbia College are regarded as "sister colleges"
in the Yosemite Community College District, discipline faculty of each college have
agreed that certain courses offered at each campus are "equivalent". Doing so to allows
you to use those courses at either college to satisfy prerequisites and program requirements
at either college.
Help with equivalencies
The courses listed below have been deemed equivalent by both colleges. The list is
updated by the MJC Instruction Office and can be updated throughout the year. If you
are interested in learning whether a course not listed may be equivalent to a specific
