Visitor Information
Getting to Caltech
Building Access
IPAC's normal operating hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  If you need to have access to the buildings outside of normal operating hours, you may request an access card or key for the duration of your visit.

east double doors are locked at 5:30 p.m. and unlocked at 7 a.m. The west door is always locked.
Morrisroe
front door is locked at 5 PM and unlocked at 7:45 a.m.  The interior lobby door is always locked; use the directory and phone to contact your IPAC host or dial x1919 for Reception.
Parking Locations
Parking is available in the underground parking structure just south-east of the Keith Spalding building (see
Keith Spalding Parking Map
or
Morrisroe Parking Map
).
Limited street parking may be available just south of the Morrisroe Bldg at the entry to Tournament Park.
Parking Permits
For car parking, visitors must have a
Caltech Parking Permit
, which can be obtained from the pay station located at the California Blvd parking structure. Individuals with handicapped access must also display a parking permit, but otherwise follow regular handicapped parking regulations.
JPL personnel may use their JPL parking permits to park at Caltech. Colored JPL permits that are valid On-Lab are now valid in commuter spaces in all Caltech lots and structures. Qualified JPL personnel that do not have On-Lab parking privileges may obtain a temporary permit from the JPL Parking Office when they have a need to park at Caltech.
Hours of enforcement are Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Red zones, fire lanes, no parking zones, handicapped spaces, and certain posted reserved spaces are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Lactation Facilities
The Keith Spalding 3rd Floor women's bathroom includes a lactation area with a room divider for privacy and a small refrigerator.
Adjacent to IPAC's Keith Spalding building, Cahill Room 212 is a lockable lactation room that requires a passcode. Please contact your host for the code.
