Plot Summary

Five years after his heroic but tragic run at the Bayanbulak Rally, legendary driver Zhang Chi (Shen Teng) won the race but lost everything. His lead seal — proof of his victory — was never found, and the organizing committee disqualified his result. He now runs a driving school, living a faded life.

When a grassroots racing team comes knocking, Zhang Chi hesitates. His body is no longer fit for racing, his license has expired. But that unfinished race at Bayanbulak still haunts him.

Meanwhile, young driving prodigy Li Xiaohai (Fan Chengcheng) dreams of standing atop the rally podium. Two generations of drivers return to Bayanbulak — this time, Zhang Chi isn't racing for the championship. He's racing to prove he was there.
