Spring 2026 Graduates
These deadlines are for any students
graduating
in the Spring. F
orm deadlines are on Thursdays. F
orms must be signed by all co-signers and received by the Graduate School in the electronic form workflow by 11:59 p.m. MT on the day they are due.
All form approvals are only available during regular Graduate School business hours.
Feb 12:
deadline to apply to graduate in Spring 2026
Deadline to submit GS25 Application for Graduation Form (students applying to graduate for the first time)
OR Reapplication for Graduation (students who have applied to graduate for a previous term)

deadline for
SUMMER 2026
graduates who would like their name published in SPRING 2026 Commencement Program
Step 1: If you do not have an approved GS6 Program of Study on file, be sure to have this completed by this deadline. Access the form on

March 26
: deadline to submit GS24 Report of Final Examination Form
GS24 Report of Final Examination Form. This must be received before your Master’s Thesis — Plan A, or Master’s Non-Thesis — Plan B requirement(s), or your Doctoral Dissertation.

The Graduate School staff will provide a
preliminary review of your thesis or dissertation
for document formatting, the deadline to submit your ETD for review is March 26.

April 2
: deadline to submit GS30 Thesis/Dissertation Submission Form and ETD to ProQuest
GS30 Thesis/Dissertation Submission Form must have
all required signatures
by the deadline. Access the form on

Survey of Earned Doctorates Certificate of Completion (uploaded to the GS30 form and required for doctoral recipients)
If applicable, include ETD Embargo Restriction Request (GS30 Embargo Section)
Last Day to Submit Electronic Thesis or Dissertation (ETD) in ProQuest
April 9
by 4:30 p.m. MT
: deadline for ETD approval in ProQuest by the Graduate School
ETD formatting
must have final Graduate School approval – all revisions must be complete and approved in ProQuest
ETD processing and approval is only available during Graduate School business hours —  business hours end at 4:30 p.m. MT
May 14:
deadline for Spring 2026 graduation clearance requirements
Clearance of all incompletes/grade changes (if applicable)
Completion of all course requirements (if applicable)
GS40 Non-Thesis Plan B Master’s Requirement
(if applicable)
GS52 Graduation Clearance Response
(if applicable)
Summer 2026 Graduates
