Dennis is an experienced WordPress engineer with a strong focus on Multisite, open source contributions, and enterprise solutions. Since 2011, he has maintained a popular multilingual solution plugin and actively contributes to WordPress core and community projects. Living in Italy, Dennis is a native German speaker and fluent in Italian. He co-organizes the Milan WordPress Meetup and regularly speaks at WordCamps across Europe — and now also in the US — sharing insights on development, open source, and community.

My open source journey began in 2011, when I created a free plugin to make WordPress multilingual using Multisite. I quickly learned that open source is more than code — it’s about community, responsibility, and sustainability. What started as solving my own need grew into years of contribution, collaboration, and sharing knowledge in the WordPress community.
