Plot
The story follows Fan Xian (Zhang Ruoyun), a young man raised in the small town of Danzhou. His mother, Ye Qingma, was a mysterious figure from the modern world who left behind a legacy of secrets and innovations.
When Fan Xian arrives in the capital, he becomes entangled in a complex web of political schemes involving the Emperor (Chen Daoming) and the head of the secret police Chen Pingping (Wu Gang). The series masterfully balances lighthearted comedy with intense political drama.
