Plot
The story takes place in a world where humans and demons coexist. During the initial process of taming and strategizing, Ji Yunhe is moved by Chang Yi's sincerity and goodness, and the two gradually develop feelings for each other in a perilous environment. However, their relationship faces obstacles and conspiracies from various forces, including the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers and the Immortal Master's Mansion.
To protect Chang Yi, Ji Yunhe is forced to create the illusion of betraying him. She painfully pushes him off a cliff to help him return to the sea and regain his freedom, while she herself is imprisoned and suffers years of captivity and torture. Six years later, Chang Yi returns as the powerful Northern Lord, harboring resentment over the past "betrayal" and subjecting Ji Yunhe to a series of complex acts of revenge and confinement. Amidst constant conflict and entanglement, the truth of the past gradually comes to light, rekindling the deep-seated emotions buried in their hearts. They ultimately choose to fight side by side against the mastermind behind the scenes, Immortal Master Ning Qing, who seeks to overturn the world. In the process of saving all living beings, they completely resolve their misunderstandings and achieve true mutual understanding and companionship.
