(1901-1990) was one of the leading esoteric scholars of the twentieth century, widely regarded as a sage and teacher steeped in the wisdom of antiquity. In 1934, he founded the Philosophical Research Society (

) in Los Angeles, which continues to publish his many works and pursue his educational mission.
