Data about the actions of participants over social objects are transformed into a computer map. Acquaintance of teachers and students with the network science begins with the study of this map. As examples, the maps of the educational projects Letopisi.org and Edu.crowdexpert.ru in the period 2006-2015 were used.

We used both approaches in the framework of summer schools for students 10-12 years old between 2008-2010.

At the same time, the research into the collective behavior of a group of participants who are members of the same school is much less common. The library of the Moscow Electronic School is a rather complicated system with multiple roles offered to users. The actors of the repository are teachers, students, parents, and publishers – anyone performing any actions with the objects. In this study, the school is seen as an actor performing actions with objects – lesson scenarios within the Moscow Electronic School repository of digital objects. Within the study, the authors compare the sociograms of schools that unite teachers and the scenarios created by the teachers and divide schools into factions based on network indicators in sociograms. The main method of presenting and analyzing data is network analysis and sociogram creation. The authors identif...

The considered lesson scenarios are characterized by high quality of material component of educational content. The lesson scenarios substantiate forms and types of control of educational results. Methodological support of the lessons, differentiation and individualization of the content, existence of nonstandard situations stimulating personal participation of students, instructions for a student have been manifested least in the lesson scenarios. High expert quality appraisals of lesson scenarios mostly do not coincide with the popularity of lesson scenarios among the users.

The article provides an overview of international research and teaching practices on the following topics: the impact of Internet use on the mental development and academic results of children aged 5-12 years; the relationship between the use of various digital learning tools and the formation of various components of cognitive and communication development; the influence of the digital component of learning on students ' academic achievements; teaching children the basics of programming in order to form their computational thinking. In this study, the numbers of paperes related to the digital transformation of preschool and primary education were identified. The number of such articles for Scopus was 1709, and for Web of Science 984. Term maps were visualized in the period 2000–2020. The three clusters for W...

This statement can be confirmed by the fact that educational practices and educational policies are discussed and implemented in different communities. This gap can be reduced by crossing existing educational communities, where the objects of activity are educational policies and educational practices.

Scaffolding Educational Community of Practice Using Visual Storytelling

Visual storytelling augmented with sociograms helps community contributors to understand the social structure of interaction which in many respects is determining the success of collaboration. Using a combination of logfile analysis and social network analysis, we have gained insights into the effective design of a collaborative documents improvement system, which fosters the creation and growth of community of practice.

The method is based on the use of the social network analysis. The results of the social network analysis, static and dynamic sociograms are used as materials that augment the narratives that we send to participants.

We developed an original crowdsourcing platform and organized collaboration of more than 500 participants. 95 original versions of the Law items were created. 23 of them were approved by the community and graduated. The mechanism proved to be effective as a tool for aggregating opinions of an open community and can be used for creative law-making.

Learning analytics and diagrams methodology helps to analyze and discuss situations that arise during co-creative projects. Our contribution makes agent-based model which help identify social objects that initiate the emergence of relations between actors, identify key actors and biggest cliques of actors, identify network characteristics of different types of participants.

Construction of the activity focuses on the achievement of the learning and social impact which is revealed as a result of its implementation. The concept takes into account modern socio-cultural trends and factors influencing the educational changes and is based on the conceptual synthesis of systemfunctioning, ecological-evolutionary and actor-network approaches. Development of the concept as a theoretical knowledge allowed to reveal its content within the framework of the theory structure logics: reason, core, consequence, outcome. Collaborative network activity models have been developed the implementation of which allowed to outline relevant for learning features of collaborative network activity. Investigation of the models helped to formulate the criteria for evaluation of the collaborative network activity dynamics. The article describes examples of the concept based projects, promising directions for the development and implementation.

Building statistical, mathematical, computational and research literacies in teaching school subjects is discussed in the article. The purpose is to develop a model for generating data for research experiments by students. Methodology. The Netlogo data generation and consecutive statistical data procession in CODAP and R programming language were used. Results. The generative approach helps students to work with data collected by agents, programmed by students themselves. In doing so, the student assumes the position of a researcher, who plans an experiment and analyses its results. Conclusion. The proposed approach of data generation and analysis allows to introduce the student to the contemporary culture of generating and sharing data.

We focus on a case of designing an ecosystem of the ISTE association community which is based on the lifecycle of standards for students, educators, coaches, computer science educators and school administrators. We analyse the mechanism of transforming the ICT competency standards into educational policies on the basis of the approach proposed by UNESCO. Also, we explore the mechanisms of translating the frameworks of the teacher’s ICT competency standards into national educational systems.

The productive activity is delivered through a wiki site Letopisi.org, where all actions of the participants are recorded in an electronic log. Log records are used as a data source to build sociograms, which constitute the basis for the research activity. The chapter describes different cycles of collaboration based on the usage of social objects. The first cycle is creation of digital story. The second cycle is social inquiry.

The results and achievements of geography, astronomy, biology, economics have always been presented in the form of maps. Modern methods and tools of network science allow to deeper understand collaboration because relations between agents of activity are represented as a map. For many collaborative educational systems maps of relations between agents and activity products are built automatically. However, these diagrams are not used in educational practice as tools for better learning. The paper provides examples of how the diagrams were used in educational practice in order to support a group reflection of collaborative activities.

Such activities can be observed in numerous network communities. A prominent example is the repository of lesson scenarios of Moscow Electronic School (MES). The combination of methods of agent-based modeling and network analysis is used in the work. Using NetLogo environment in the frames of the model, an artificial community has been developed, where teachers-agents interact with scenarios-agents. Teacher-agent determines whether there are potential scenarios in his environment to be contacted with. If such scenarios are available, then the agent selects the nearest one and makes a step towards it. If the scenario has been opened by one of the teachers, then this is already an author’s scenario and the teacher-agent takes an action to reuse it. Variants of the reuse can be preset so that to correspond to the actions allowable in the environment ...
