What is UWIlinC?
UWIlinC is The UWI Libraries Information Connection Portal that gives you access to databases, books and other resources in the Library.

What are the procedures to borrow a loaner tablet or laptop from the Library?
Make request through your faculty, Guild of Students or OSSD –then those entities will send the request to the library.
Which items can I borrow and what are the loan periods?

May I renew a book I borrowed?
Yes, as long as it is not in demand, on hold for someone else or overdue. Also, only open self materials can be renewed.
How can I access the Gleaner archives?
Go to UWILinC. Sign in. Select Databases.  Search Gleaner. Click on the link. Enter your search term.
Where can I find past examination papers?
These can be found on UWILinC by using the course code.
May I reserve a book that is out on loan?
Only Open Shelf materials are allowed and this can be done in person or through online conditions.
What are the opening hours for the Overnight Reading Rooms?
The opening hours of the overnight Reading Rooms may vary depending on which campus you plan to access the facility from. Check our branch pages for availability and opening hours.
How do I top up my printing account?
You may top up your printing balance online.

Make Payment
Users should ensure with each top up that the funds are being added to the correct account by checking the identification number and student information displayed.
This can also be done at the Reprographic Services Unit at the Main Library.
