Can I make a police report over the phone?
No, with one exception. The ESPD will accept a report by telephone for a missing person, including runaways, without delay and will give priority to the handling of that report.

Does the El Segundo Police Department serve court notices?
No, ESPD does not serve court notices. Los Angeles Sheriff Department Court Services does have a service.
How often do you test for Police positions?
Officers- Once a month (entry-level)
Lateral Officers- Continuous
How to obtain a copy of a police report?
Contact the Police Records Section at 310-524-2200 during business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. A fee of $0.20 per page plus tax is charged for any Incident or Accident Report. Police Records are released to a person(s) authorized to obtain the Incident or Accident report.
