Morgan-Menil Research Fellowship
Fellowships are key components of the Menil Drawing Institute program as a leading research center on modern and contemporary drawing. These fellowships foster the highest level of scholarship and allow rich, interdisciplinary, object-based conversations on the drawing medium’s history, theory, criticism, and practice.
Conservation
Andrew W. Mellon Advanced Training Fellowship in Art Conservation
The conservation department at the Menil Collection has offered advanced training fellowships since 1991, supported by an endowment from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The appointment rotates between specialties in paintings conservation, paper conservation, and objects conservation, providing an enriching environment in which emerging conservation professionals can build their research and treatment portfolios. The application cycle is open at minimum every three years.
