What is financial wellness and why is it important?
Many students have little to no financial literacy education. We want to change that!
Our mission is to empower individuals with vital financial knowledge for lifelong
success, educating both students and families in our community about critical financial
topics. Through financial literacy, we aim to provide individuals with the tools and
confidence to navigate college expenses and pursue their career paths with financial
stability.

Tuition assistance.
Many employers offer tuition assistance to employees. This is a great benefit. Check
with your employer to see if they offer it. Or if you're looking for work, research
companies that offer this benefit. Every company has its own requirements — what grades
you need to get for full reimbursement or how long you have to continue working there
after being reimbursed. Make sure you understand the requirements.
Living Situation
Living off campus is a great way to save money. (Note: Students who live outside of
a 25-mile radius of campus must live on campus their first two years.)
Stay within your budget.
Don't get sidetracked by pricey amenities and overspend!
Consider living with roommates.
It will significantly lower your monthly bill.
Do your research.
Know what deposits you will have to pay, whether utilities are included, how long
the lease is for, etc.
