Where is a quiet room where I can study?
Two study rooms are located on the north side of the building, available on a first-come,
first-served basis. Library staff cannot take reservations or kick anyone out of a
study room because they’ve been there too long, are noisy, don’t deserve it, etc.
If both study rooms are in use, you may use room 105 by the circulation desk if it’s
not in use for an event. If you use room 105, you must leave the door open so staff
can easily access the equipment. There are no other rooms available to students.
The Chap Success Center also offers private and semi-private study spaces on the 2nd
Floor of the LRC. The computer lab in LRC 235 is a semi-quiet workspace and includes
a one-person private study room. Additionally, a larger semi-quiet study area is available
near Science Tutoring in LRC 233, providing students with more flexible options for
focused work. They are all first-come first-serve as well.
What is the circulation desk?
The circulation desk is the big desk just inside the library's front doors. Library
staff are always available to help students.
Where is the exit?
Right between the entrances on the front of the building.
