Green Space Policy
Green spaces are open daily from dawn to dusk.
The Menil does not allow organized classes, performances, or events outside of museum programs. Groups must not block walkways. Solicitation and advertising on campus is not permitted. We regret that we cannot accommodate weddings or large gatherings.

Prohibited Items & Activities
The trees are fragile. Please do not climb on trees or use hammocks, slacklines, or tightropes.
Protect the artwork. Do not touch or climb on outdoor sculptures.
Open fires are prohibited. Please do not bring grills and furnishings (such as tables or lanterns).
Amplified music is not allowed.
Please use trash receptacles or appropriate recycling containers.
Keep the grounds clean. Do not use confetti or small items that are thrown, smoke machines, or cannons.
Glass containers are not permitted.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted.
Unlicensed possession of firearms is prohibited.
Pets
Dogs must remain leashed.
Pet owners are required to pick up after pets.
Vehicles and Transportation
Motorized vehicles, including scooters, must remain on streets or parking areas. They are not permitted on sidewalks or walkways.
Skateboards or bicycles are welcome. Upon arrival, please dismount and walk or carry any non-motorized vehicle across the sidewalks and grass.
