Who We Are
At John Rex Endowment (JRE), we’re a private, North Carolina foundation – but we’re also so much more than a grant-making organization.
We’re advocates. We’re steadfast partners. We are accountable to our partners and our community. We’re advancing racial equity.
We work with nonprofits, policy leaders, fellow funders and advocates to help Wake County children and families thrive. We do it all with a powerful focus: building a more equitable community.
Partner With Us
We support and collaborate with Wake County nonprofits that center racial equity and justice to improve the social emotional health of Wake County children. We do this by:
Building partnerships with like-minded advocates, and helping them build additional partnerships, too.
Investing in organizations that are using new approaches to advocate for children.
Helping organizations grow their capacities and develop strong operations practices — so they can focus on what they do best.
