Welcome our New Superintendent!
Dear Pawling Community,
Please join the Board of Education and me in welcoming Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy as our newly appointed Superintendent of Schools. Most recently serving as an Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel Services for Carmel Central School District, she brings a deep-rooted commitment to ensuring every student has the support and resources necessary to thrive in and out of the classroom.

Pawling CSD uses ParentSquare for school-to-home communications. We are using ParentSquare to send important district information, including alerts for school closings and delays. Pawling Middle School Pickup and Dropoff Procedures
If you choose to drive your child to and/or from school, please note the following important drop off and pick up times:
Morning Drop Off:
Middle school cars should be parked in front of the middle school
before
7:44 am.  Parents who are dropping off their child(ren) should plan to arrive no earlier than 7:30 am, and they must remain parked with their children until the arrival time of 7:45 am.  The stop sign by the high school is shut down by 7:44 every morning.  At 7:45, all roadways are stopped and students are released from buses and vehicles.   Students should exit their vehicle and walk up to the school when signaled to do so.
Afternoon Pick Up:
Middle school cars should be parked in front of the middle school
before
2:35 pm. Parents who are picking up their child(ren) should plan to arrive no earlier than 2:25 pm and no later than 2:35 pm.  The stop sign by the high school is shut down by 2:35 pm every afternoon.  At 2:40 pm, all roadways are closed and students begin to walk to their buses and vehicles.

The chart below includes information regarding current extracurricular clubs at PCMS.  Please encourage your children to sign up!  Information regarding how to sign up for each individual club is specified on the chart.  If you have any questions about a particular club, please be sure to reach out to the club advisor.

Artwork and Achievements!
The Pawling Music Department took on Music in the Parks and was awarded with multiple 1st place trophies and Overall Awards! Each ensemble gets a rating and placement at Music in the Parks. Every Pawling ensemble was rated first in the small school class as well as winning the Overall Awards in their respective category, which is awarded to one school for each category, regardless of school size.
