Why would I want to use journal articles in my research?
Theater criticism published in journals is most often written by professors of theater at universities and active practitioners in the field! It is
current
and usually narrowly focused, such as a study of a performance, an examination of performance theory, or an analysis of genre, play or theater movement. References are included to document the sources of information.
Use the Article Databases listed in the box below to find journal articles and other resources.

Journals by Title
How do I find a particular journal?
Open the
Hannon Library Advanced Search
Select "
Journal Search
" from the menu bar at the top.
Enter the journal title in the search box.
If we have it, you should see the title in the results list. Select the journal from the list to view its record in the catalog.
Note that there may be more than one result for a journal, one for the physical print version, and one for the online version.
If you don’t see any results, then we probably don’t have that journal. In that case, you can still request a specific article from that journal through
Interlibrary Loan
. It will take 1-7 business days.
