Urgent Needs
You can help meet the most basic needs of individuals and families in Gary and Northwest Indiana who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, and economic hardship.
Your support helps Sojourner Truth House provide food, housing assistance, and compassionate care to those on their journey toward stability and hope.
Currently, we are urgently in need of Adult incontinence pull-up style briefs - all sizes,
Children’s pull-ups - size 3T/4T, Brooms and dustpans, Irons and Ironing boards, Mops / buckets, Swiffer style sweeper / mop, Oven mitts and potholders, Shower curtains and shower curtain liners, Small appliances: (microwaves, crock pots, air fryers, toasters/ toaster ovens, and blenders) new or used, but clean and in working order please, Waste baskets and tall kitchen trash cans, Gallon and quart size plastic storage bags, Pancake mix and syrup, Canned tuna or chicken, and Pasta sauce for the pantry.
