Rebuilding Hope at the Mill Creek Community Food Bank
On February 25, a powerful windstorm knocked down a large tree, crushing one of our Backpacks of Hope containers and severely damaging our main food storage building. Thanks to our generous community, we haven’t missed a single outreach. Your support has kept us going through a very difficult time, and we are deeply grateful.
Our new building is halfway complete, and now we’re asking for your help to finish phase two.
We need to raise over $100,000
to complete heating, insulation, and—what everyone’s excited about—running water and a restroom!
Together, we’re not just rebuilding—we’re creating something stronger for today and for the future of our Snohomish County community.

Exciting News for the Mill Creek Food Bank!
We’ve reached a major milestone at the Mill Creek Community Food Bank. We are officially approved for occupancy in our new building, allowing us to fully use the space as we continue rebuilding and expanding our services.
This approval means something very real for our volunteers and the families we serve:
Distributions are now happening under a roof and out of the rain, creating a safer, more comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
With occupancy secured, we are now moving into Phase 2 of our project: fundraising for plumbing and water infrastructure. These next improvements are essential to making the building fully functional and sustainable for the long term.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped us reach this point through encouragement, donations, and hands-on support. Each step forward strengthens our ability to serve the community with dignity and care. More updates to come as we continue this important work together.
Help Stock Hope Creek's Shelves
You can make a real difference right from home by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish Lists! Each donation helps us provide essential food and supplies for families, students, and neighbors in need across Snohomish County.
Every can of food, box of cereal, or hygiene item you send fills a real gap for a local family - keeping shelves stocked, lunch bags full, and kids ready to learn. Your generosity helps us stretch our resources further and reach more people each week.
Together, we’re building a stronger, more caring community — one package at a time

What We Aim To Solve
Hope Creek Charitable Foundation exists to address food insecurity and the ripple effects of poverty among families in Snohomish County. We aim to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry while building pathways to stability and self-sufficiency.
Our programs work to:
Reduce hunger by providing consistent access to nutritious food for individuals and families in need.
Support children who face weekend food insecurity through school partnerships that send meals home every Friday.
Restore dignity and connection by meeting people with compassion, respect, and trust, recognizing that food assistance is often the first step toward broader wellness and stability.
Build community resilience by mobilizing volunteers and local partners to care for our most vulnerable neighbors.
In short, Hope Creek works to solve the immediate problem of hunger while fostering the long-term goal of hope, stability, and belonging for those we serve.
A Little Bit About Us
Our primary mission is to meet immediate needs for food, but our efforts are rooted in the values of Community, Generosity, and Hope. We go above and beyond, fueled by the generosity of our community.
At the heart of what we do is a unique cycle of care: our guests often become volunteers, and our volunteers sometimes become guests. This mutual support fosters a community built on compassion, healing, and generosity—one whose positive impact extends far beyond the food bank border.
Together, we are creating a ripple effect of kindness and hope which enables us to make a lasting difference in the community.
