Benefits Overview
I have been with UA for over 10 years, and I could not imagine being anywhere else.
The people I get to work with are some of the best. The administration and content
coaches go above and beyond to make sure that teachers have what they need to be successful
in the classroom. My own children attend UA, and I have watched them grow in not only
academics, but also their confidence and leadership skills that will take them far
beyond the classroom. I am proud to work for UA and even more proud to have children
who attend UA!

Choosing this career wasn't just a decision — it was a calling. I’ve always believed
in doing work that matters, and teaching gives me that every single day. What drew
me in was the opportunity to make a real impact, not just on paper, but in the lives
of others and within the community I serve.
I chose UA because it aligns with my values: purpose, growth, and connection. Every
day brings new challenges, new people, and new chances to grow — professionally and
personally. I work with a team that supports one another and a mission that inspires
me.
It’s not just about a paycheck — it’s about passion. And I’m proud to say I found
a job where my passion meets purpose.

Working at UT Tyler University Academy has been fulfilling both personally and professionally.
I feel supported and encouraged. I love how the leadership has a growth mindset approach
and every opportunity is approached with that style. I have learned so much, not only
about education and teaching, but about myself as well. I feel like I am part of a
community and am valued as a teacher and a person. It's an honor to be at a place
that values and nurtures growth for their employees.

I can't wait to get to work each day because of our awesome team and our amazing kids.
I can honestly say that I absolutely love every single one of my students. This is
a really fun place to work and grow because we are all challenged and encouraged to
excellence every day!

What makes UA truly special is the sense of family you feel the moment you walk in.
Everyone here genuinely cares — not just about the work, but about one another. We
step in to support each other, share ideas, and lift one another up because we all
know we’re working toward the same goal: helping every student succeed. That unity
makes the hard days easier and the good days even better.
