Little Canada Elementary PTA
“What is the PTA, and what does it have to do with me?”
You are an important part of our school community!
The mission of the Little Canada Parent & Teacher Association (or PTA) is to make sure that every single family knows that they are a treasured part of our community. We want you to be an active part of our parent and teacher support team through the PTA, and here’s why:
We make big decisions.
Every month, we gather to discuss important information, hear updates from our Principal and make decisions that directly affect the students at the school. We want all students represented so that the decisions we make on their behalf are the best for our kids. Please consider becoming a member for a small yearly fee (see details at the bottom of this page), all LC PTA members have the right to vote at our meetings.
We need to stick together.
Especially during this volatile season in our country, it is more crucial than ever that all families at our school feel safe, included, and valued. We need each other!
We make things happen.
The Little Canada PTA works with our teachers and staff to provide equitable enrichment opportunities for all our students. Over the years, we have provided school staff the funds they need for educational, technology, and specialist (art/music/physical education) programs, as well as provide teachers grant money to provide for individual classroom needs not covered by school budgets. All money raised through these events goes directly back into our School.
We have fun!
Parenting is hard work! We need a chance to come together, catch our breath, and remember that we are all in this together! Every month we have delicious snacks and laugh a lot, all while our kiddos are having a ball eating free pizza and playing next door with our incredible child care team. What could be better?

Please consider joining Little Canada Elementary PTA. Parents may attend meetings regardless of whether they have a paid membership. It is a great way to meet other parents, find ways to help our students, have a say in how we use PTA funds and stay informed with updates from the school Principal.

Parents and staff members are encouraged to join the PTA. The annual fee is $7 per individual. The dues are divided between local, state, and national levels. Our local PTA membership decides on its own programs, projects and legislative activities; Members also choose programs, projects, grants and activities to support at Little Canada Elementary.
