TeX Live mailing lists

First, two common kinds of messages which should not go to any TeX Live list:

  • Package bug reports should go to the package author. TL redistributes what is uploaded to CTAN without changes.
  • General (La)TeX usage questions, including questions about specific packages, should go to one of the general help resources. The TeX Live lists are for TeX Live topics specifically, not just any question about TeX.

You do not need to be subscribed in order to post to any of these (or other tug.org) mailing lists.

Here are the TeX Live mailing lists (they are all hosted on tug.org):

You can use the web interfaces linked above to (un)subscribe if you wish (they are open lists, except for tlsecurity), or peruse their archives.

All the archives are public (except for tlsecurity). Thus, if you do not want your name or email address to be publicly visible, don't write to these lists. But in all other cases, please do write to the lists, instead of to individuals.
