WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory

If you have permissions to close issues or update docs directly, even better. If not, your comments are exactly what’s needed to help the docs team take action.

Contributor Day is one of the most welcoming and energizing parts of any WordCamp. It’s a dedicated day for attendees to contribute to the WordPress open-source project by joining one of the many Make WordPress teams.
