Marketing and Communications serves as NMSU’s public information, marketing and media relations office. We represent the NMSU brand in all aspects of our work and support the strategic communication initiatives of the university through integrated storytelling..
Our focus is on building awareness of NMSU and its mission, core values, campus culture and academic programming across New Mexico, the bordering states and Mexico. We achieve this by developing and implementing NMSU’s marketing and integrated communication strategy and by collaborating with colleges and departments across the NMSU system to raise awareness, build reputation and engage the university with our supporters and the public we serve.

Office of Marketing and Communications
Marketing and Communications is housed under Strategic System Services (Vice Chancellor's Office), whose three areas of focus offer a variety of services and programs for the university community, news media, and general public. These units, News and Media Relations, Marketing Services and University Broadcasting – work collaboratively and creatively on projects designed to increase awareness of the university among a variety of constituents.
